About
SFX Magazine
SFX is a
UK science fiction and fantasy magazine,
published by Future Publishing. SFX is
easily the market leader in the genre
magazine arena, and has been running since
1995. The magazine covers all aspects of
science fiction and fantasy, including TV,
films, DVDs, books, comics, games,
collectables and shed-loads
more.
Why is
the magazine called SFX? Well, it's not
really an acronym, although the "SF" bit
obviously implies "science fiction". The
"X" bit? Er... Xtra? Xtreme? Xplosion?!
Take your pick. It certainly doesn't mean
that SFX is a special FX magazine -
because it isn't. SFX is purely a sci-fi
and fantasy mag. And a great read to
boot.
