Marc said: "I drifted into the shoe business. I had a Saturday job selling shoes while I was at college studying engineering, and after one summer holiday I decided I would rather be selling shoes. I've always been prepared to take a risk if I believe in something, such as leaving college to work in a shoe shop. If you get more risks right than you get wrong, it's worthwhile."
