Chocolate Aniseed
Balls Aniseed
Balls are a traditional favourite, like
little gobstoppers and with a strong
aniseed flavour. They are shiny and dark
brownish red, and hard like Gobstoppers,
but generally only 1cm across. They are
generally sold by weight, for example by
quarter pound in traditional sweet shops
and from online sweet shops in the UK and
Ireland. They are
made using 'anise seed', having a very
strong aniseed flavour, and last for a
long time in the mouth before dissolving.
In the centre of the ball is a whole anise
seed that can be crushed.
Yum!
If Aniseed
Balls are your thing, then one of these
beauties will keep you aniseeded up for a
very very long time! Love
Hearts Sweets Love
Hearts Sweets - the making (or breaking)
of many a childhood romance! The
messages may have changed a bit over the
years - I certainly don't remember "Fax
Me", "Email Me" and "Page Me" when I was a
kid - but they still taste yummy and they
still have old favourites like "Keep Cool"
and "Be Mine". We've
been known, to our shame, to just throw a
bunch of Love Hearts sweets in our mouth
at the same time and crunch them all to
bits. Forget the individual flavours -
sometimes, you've just got to do what
feels right! Space
Dust Space
Dust is popping candy that changes
colour while it explodes on your tongue -
for your delight and delectation. And
what's more - it comes in loads of awesome
flavours including Strawberry, Orange,
Cola, Cherry and Tutti Frutti. It's
sometimes called Fizz Wiz or Popping Candy
these days but it's still the same weird
stuff that will make your mouth go
mental! Some of
the trendy TV chefs have now started using
Space Dust in their desserts - and only
recently we supplied James Martin on
Saturday Kitchen with a whole load of it!
Apparently Gordon Ramsay is also using the
stuff. Wispa
Chocolate Bar After a
long and very distressing absence, the
magic that was the Cadbury's Wispa
Chocolate Bar is back - and it's just
as scrummy as it was when it launched back
in 1981. Wispa
made its comeback after several online
campaigns. Cadbury finally gave way to the
huge amount of pressure from loving fans
and the Wispa Chocolate Bar came back as a
result of some massive online campaigns.
The power of the internet means that
Cadbury's Wispa bar is once again
available! Free
